Aspects of the coast and the depths of the sea from the Columena tower to S. Caterina.
The park of Porto Selvaggio, La Palude del Capitano and the Riserva Marina of Porto Cesareo are part of a coastline that has been well preserved. The marine depths are rich in flora and fauna. The coast is studded with groves of rare and evocative beauty. Above all is the Cove of Corvine. This is a true submersed cathedral that is a reflection of an ancient period of continentally, in the course of which the cavity was emerged.
The Corvine Cove, along with other underwater caves, like the Green Cave, the Luigino Marras Cave and the Paolo Roversi Cave (which was inhabited by the monk seal until the 40’s), make up a submerged carsico patrimony each of unique interest and beauty.
